I have installed Creo 2 (M) on Windows and probably after the April update of Win10 problems with Creo started with this update.
They are circular arcs so I suppose I could use a parametric equation to create circles, but I'm not sure that's the easiest and I'm not sure I'll know how to match up the ends precisely. Join your peers on the Internet's largest technical engineering professional community. Do I need to be using a slot, a slider or what to allow linar motion and rotation along the slot? Whether you have a Resources While Industry 4. For some reasonit never occured to me that it'd be possible to just use a bunch of curves from a sketch. Okyeah that was really easy.
The model jumps around randomly every time I switch, requiring You can only change the wire length in the cable itself first. Then reflatten or update your flattened cable. Pick cabling under application, then modify When you save the harness in the thickened mode.
And put it into your database manager or working directories. I will open up in the assembly as thickened. Whether you have a Hello, I am using parametric location callout symbols to indicate position of detail views located on a different page than the parent view.
The issue I'm having is that the zone indicated by the Hey, If you wanna know how to create the hose check out this link. Results 1 to 3 of 3. Each of the curved cut-out bits in the part shown below is a slot for a mechanism where pins with diameter equal to the width of the tracks will slide back and forth as the wheel spins. So I need to connect the pins with slot connection. But I do not know how to create the curve that will be used for each slot connection. I need to add a curve to the center of each slot that matches it curvature.
For some reason I can't think of what the best way to do this would be. They are circular arcs so I suppose I could use a parametric equation to create circles, but I'm not sure that's the easiest and I'm not sure I'll know how to match up the ends precisely.

I have not used Mechanisms a lot and and don't know how to define the feature I have modelled. Attached is a screen shot. What I would like to do is add a contraint to the slot, about the hole in the lower step which will allow a pin to travel up the slot in the link bar before folding the upper step in vertical and parellel to the lower step.
Hope that makes sense. Do I need to be using a slot, a slider or what to allow linar motion and rotation along the slot? How do I apply the relavant constrain, do I need a sketched curve, and axis running parallel to the slot or what?
Thanks in advance for the help. The upper step will havwe a stop which will prevent it from going past horizontal. The lower step overlaps the upper step and the link bar fits between the two. I have worked out the slot constraint, I needed to add a datum curve.
Now Ihave another problem, I can't drag the mechanism with the 'drag components' handle as I get the message in the dashboard "You may not drag a model belonging to the ground body. I haven't really worked with the mechanism features, but I believe you need to define a component as the fixed component, or the ground body.
